Planning your vacation to Disney World can be stressful, trying to figure out where you’re going to stay, what food to try, what attractions to ride, and everything in between. Don’t worry — that’s why we’re here!
We’re Disney World experts, and trust us, we’ve stayed at every single Disney World Resort (no, really, we have). Staying on property often costs a lot of money, but here’s something I wish I knew before I hit “check out” on my most recent vacation.
There are different tiers of Disney World Resorts: Deluxe, Moderate, and Value, all offering different perks for your trip. One of our favorite resorts to stay at is the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin. This resort gives us deluxe perks at a moderate price.
First, let’s talk about the perks! One that we’ll always love is Extended Evening Hours. This gives you extra time in the parks after they close to the public. We love being able to hop on those hard-to-get rides with low waits!
We also love the Swan & Dolphin location and transportation. It’s right by EPCOT, so you can walk to the parks in the morning without worrying about crowds or waiting for transportation.
There’s also a boat that takes you to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. Like all Disney Resorts, it also has buses to get to the other parks.
Don’t forget that just a small walk away is also the Skyliner. There are so many options!
This sounds pretty great, but what about the prices? We looked at rooms in September 2025, and they were as low as $250 per night. Now THAT’S a steal!
If we compare it to Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, which has the same perks and is also in the EPCOT area, the standard price is $682 a night. That’s quite a difference, especially when we’re talking about the same perks.
Is Swan & Dolphin the hidden gem of Disney World? It might be! It still has fantastic dining options, like Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina, which is new, that we have become obsessed with.
There are six unique pools with whirlpools, fountains, and waterfalls, too. There’s even a lap pool! Swan & Dolphin has so much to do that we’re always excited to book a room, even as Disney locals.
In the meantime, we’re going to keep bringing you all the best deals to make your Disney World vacation the best one yet. Keep following Disney Food Blog for more.

I can’t wait! We’ve got 4 night at the Dolphin booked for the holiday parties completely paid for with Bonvoy points! Hopefully, I’ll get airline miles for all the flights, so food and tickets will be the only thing that cost money.
Great article pointing out all the perks at this resort! We have considered staying there. If you have a lot of rewards with Marriott (or want to earn rewards with Marriott), this is probably your best bet for WDW. I will say this: a very important consideration for wherever you stay is to understand the all-in costs. We drive, and we don’t have a lot of Marriott rewards, and aren’t looking to rack them up. The costs for this resort don’t compare well for us for the space that we need or the all-in costs, but I kind of wish that they did! There are so many restaurants we want to try there.
