If you don’t map out the best trick-or-treat spots every Halloween, what are you doing? There’s only ONE time each year when it’s socially acceptable to accept free candy from strangers, so you might as well make the most of it and look for the people who hand out generous portions and splurge for the full-size candy bars, right?

Trick or Treat Bag
But we’re getting ahead of ourselves. We’re reporting LIVE from Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and we’re here to share EVERYTHING there is to experience so you know exactly what to expect during this after-hours event. There are tons of exclusive character meet-and-greets, the iconic Boo To You Parade, and, of course, FREE CANDY. Where can you go trick-or-treating in Magic Kingdom? Is it true that the FULL-SIZE candy is back this year? Let’s find out!
Let’s start with the basics. You can A.) bring your own trick-or-treat bag to the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, or B.) pick up a free one as you enter the park. Once you’ve got your party wristband and a bag to hold your candy, all that’s left is to hit up those treat trails around the park. Look out for these big old signs — that’s where you enter the line for candy!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
This year, there are 15 candy stations according to the map, and you can see them all conveniently marked as TRICK-OR-TREAT LOCATIONS. Note that you can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4 PM, but these treat stations won’t become available until 7 PM, when the party officially starts.

Most trick-or-treat locations hand out fun-size candy (Starburst, M&M’s, Snickers, Skittles, and more), but there is one important stop you should make as you enter the party. Over on Main Street, U.S.A., Cast Members have special candy just for the new event attendees! Last year, we got a bag of Peanut Butter M&M’s, and this year, we got Caramel M&M’s.

Full Size!
The good news is that once you’re in the park, you can hit up those treat spots as often as you want! LOAD UP ON FREE CANDY, PEOPLE. Just make sure to save some room in your luggage — all those fun-size candies can add up!

Oh, and if you’ve got an allergy, don’t worry! Cast Members have special tokens at each trick-or-treat location, and you can redeem those tokens in a special location (usually on Main Street, U.S.A.) for allergy-friendly treats.
