When it comes to dining in Disney World, Disney Springs is an amazing place to start!

Salt and Straw!
It’s Disney’s shopping and dining district with tons of spots for dining and entertainment, all without a park ticket. One of the best spots to grab a unique sweet treat at Disney Springs is Salt and Straw! Each experience at this spot surprises us, so we’re bringing you along with us to test out this month’s limited-time flavors.
Salt and Straw in Disney Springs is known for its sweet, cold treats that might actually shock you! It has flavors like the Strawberry Honey Balsamic with Black Pepper, Salty Donut Guava + Cheese, and Arbequina Olive Oil. (Don’t be confused, we’re still talking ice cream!)

Salt and Straw!
This spot also has rotating flavors each month, and in August 2025, you can find 5 different flavors in The Farmer’s Market Series.

The Farmers Market
With flavors like that, you know we had to put them to the test! For the Chocolate Chip Zucchini Bread, it was probably the most tame of the flavors. The main flavors were chocolate chip, but the zucchini bread didn’t necessarily taste like zucchini bread. It reminded us of a pumpkin bread with warm spices. We also loved the Tomato Gelato with Olive Oil Brittle! Stay with us here, but it reminded us of a liquid ketchup. It has a savory, salty tomato taste mixed with the olive oil and a hint of lemon zest.

Have some!
It’s thin and creamy but with chunks of olive brittle, which makes it sweet and salty. It reminded us of a honey brittle with tomato, which made for some really unique flavors. Is it fair to say we were shocked that we also loved the Melon and Prosciutto! It had a strong cantaloupe flavor swirled with a salty prosciutto ice cream to make a nice Italian flavor. (Anyone else craving the Melon and Prosciutto pizza from Via Napoli now?) The combination was amazing and felt like a brunch offering in a fun, weird way.

A scoop!
Cast Members at this spot shared that the Peach Jam Miso Blondies flavor has been a big hit with customers, and we can see why! It reminded us of a peach cobbler, and we can see people who love jam being big fans of this. The blondies are nutty and buttery, making the ice cream salty. We’re noticing a pattern here, and we aren’t mad about it.

So much flavor!
Finally, we tested out the Pickled Cucumber Sorbet. This one was more icy than creamy, which was a departure from the previous flavors. It really reminded us of frozen pickle juice, which could be pretty polarizing. It was briney and made us feel like we peeled a pickle off of a sandwich and bit it. It was refreshing, but if you don’t like pickles, don’t even try it with this one. If you’re pregnant and have a pickle craving, though, this will knock your socks off.
