It’s finally here!!!
Disney just announced the opening date for the new Pirates of the Caribbean-themed lounge coming to Magic Kingdom.
If it’s a “Pirates life” for you, then this new lounge is the one for you. The brand-new Pirates of the Caribbean lounge is a first-of-its-kind experience that “will extend the story of Pirates of the Caribbean.”
An all-new lounge themed to Pirates of the Caribbean will open at Magic Kingdom in 2025.

Pirates of all ages can gather to “tell their tales,” while enjoying some “grogs and grub.” At the 2024 D23 Expo, we learned that this lounge will be opening in 2025, but when in 2025? Well, wonder no more, because Disney just announced the official opening date of this new lounge.

You will be able to grab a seat at this “rambunctious watering hole” beginning August 29th, 2025. That’s right, we are only 24 away from the grand opening of Beak and Barrel. We can’t wait to step inside and check out all the food and drink offerings!

Reservations will open on August 14th, so make sure you set an alarm if you want to go to this tavern soon.

They also dropped a few menu items that we’re already obsessing over! From The Treasure Trove, Kraken’s Catch, and a Salty Seas mARRRgarita, we don’t know where to start.

There’s also merchandise! We’re in for a real treat (or treasure!).

It is only a matter of time until we are enjoying the new lounge and singing “yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me!” at the top of our lungs. This new Pirates of the Caribbean lounge isn’t the only new thing coming to Disney, though. In fact, there is A LOT coming and it can be hard to keep it all straight. I will DEFINITELY be going to the new Pirates lounge! Pirates is my second favorite ride in Disney World!
Sorry if I missed this book but will this be considered quick service or is it a sit down restaurant. Assuming it will be included in the dining plan. We are planning a trip for October 11 so this is super exciting news 🙂 Just need to know the above information so we can plan for our daily meals! Thank you
