A NEW Disney MagicBand Feature Unlocks a FREE Souvenir For Collectors

There are LOADS of ways to celebrate Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary, but some of our favorites involve your MagicBand+!

A MagicBand+ isn’t essential for your vacation, but it does make multiple things much easier. You can buy yourself a snack, get yourself into your hotel room for a nap, and interact with things around the park with just one tap! For the 70th Anniversary, there are loads of interactive points you can test out for a limited time, and one of them is FINALLY working!

Over near Autopia, you’ll see a stoplight that looks like you can touch your MagicBand+ against each circle. However, since the celebration began, all we’ve heard are car sounds when we tapped against it. That’s all changed now, because now you get a ticket!

That doesn’t sound very exciting normally, but it is here! Multiple MagicBand+ touch points around the park will get you special 70th Anniversary tickets that you can collect. This one hasn’t worked for weeks, but we’re thrilled to see that now, when you tap against it, you’ll get a ticket that says you broke an Autopia law while driving.

Your ticket is issued by The Tomorrowland Transit Authority, and on the back, one of the boxes is checked for what you “did wrong.” For us, we were apparently driving while distracted. Oops! Heads up, you don’t need to ride the attraction to get one!
