Disney World Annual Passholders currently have access to a special V.I.Passholder lounge at EPCOT, but there’s a catch…
During the length of Disney World’s V.I.Passholders promotion through July 13th, an exclusive lounge for Annual Passholders will operate inside the Restaurant Marrakesh in EPCOT’s Morocco Pavilion.
The AP lounge is open deal from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily, and offers numerous amenities to Passholders, including:
- An air-conditioned area.
- Complimentary snacks and water.
- Mobile device charging stations.
- A complimentary Passholder button.
- Special Disney PhotoPass offerings.
So, what’s the catch? Access to the lounge is limited ONLY to AP’s! A valid Annual Pass, as well as a corresponding government ID, must be shown by each guest before entry, and non-AP guests are not permitted, even if traveling with a Passholder.
The lounge is part of the larger V.I.Passholder event at the resort. Having begun on May 14th, the event lasts through July 13th and features:
40% discounts at the following table-service restaurants (Monday to Thursdays only) from May 14th to June 30th:
- Boatwright’s Dining Hall
- Cape May Cafe (dinner only)
- Hollywood & Vine
- Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood
- Tusker House Restaurant (lunch and dinner only)
The eligible restaurants will change in July, as Annual Passholders will be able to save 40% at the following table-service restaurants from Monday to Thursday only from July 1st to July 31st, 2025:
- Ale & Compass Restaurant (breakfast and lunch only)
- Coral Reef Restaurant
- The Diamond Horseshoe
- Tiffins Restaurant
- Whispering Canyon Cafe
These discounts apply to the regular menu price and exclude alcoholic beverages, tax and gratuity, and are only for the use of Passholders and, unless otherwise noted, up to 3 Guests during each location’s regular operating hours. At the time of purchase, Passholders must “present their valid Annual Pass ID in the Tickets and Passes section of their My Disney Experience app and a valid photo ID.”
Finally, from June 2nd to June 22nd, 2025, Walt Disney World Annual Passholders (even those who can’t visit the parks in person during this period) can save 20% on purchases at DisneyStore.com. They simply need to ensure that their AP is linked to their MyDisney account, and then enter the promo code WDW20 and select “Apply” at checkout to apply the discount to all eligible items in their bag.
There’s also a Maleficent Passholder Magnet, and some exclusive Passholder treats, including the Passholder-Exclusive Cruella Ice Cream Sundae at Hollywood Studios, and several exclusive Joffrey’s beverages including:
- Caramel Dreams Cold Brew – Available Only at Magic Kingdom Park
Inspired by Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away (a nighttime parade debuting in summer 2025), this beverage features a dreamy blend of Shakin Jamaican™ Cold Brew, a shot of espresso, caramel sauce, dark chocolate sauce and a splash of cream. I’m an AP but my sister is not. Very nasty of wdw that she cannot be my guest! Disney is getting very weird and discriminatory in their rules and making it clear that the wealthy (AP and DVC in particular) are entitled to perks within the parks (lounges, etc) but the rest are not. Shame on them! I will not be renewing my pass. It’s too expensive and I don’t like the direction Disney and wdw are headed. All the joy and magic are gone….
We are APs and travel to Florida 3-4 times per year. Regrettably our next WDW trip isn’t until August… AFTER the AP Malificent magnet release. In the past, we would miss the AP Passholder Magnet event, then see those for sale on Ebay (shameful to sell a FREE magnet).
Who can we reach out to to request the AP Passholder Malificent magnet be sent to us? We’re willing to pay S/H
