Disney is busy, busy, busy!

From Disneyland turning 70 to Disney World working on building new worlds, there’s a lot of change happening. That’s why it’s time for our weekly news round-up so you can stay in the know!

If you’re anything like us, you eat, sleep, and breathe Disney! There’s always so much happening with the Walt Disney Company, so we like to do a little wrap-up of the biggest highlights of the week so we (and you) can stay totally informed. This week was a big one for Disney World, starting off with the confirmation of a returning favorite!

Disney Springs Flavors of Florida is back in 2025! This celebration is inspired by the Sunshine State and will run from June 27th to August 10th, 2025. 

Eateries and restaurants all around Disney Springs will showcase MORE THAN 90 limited-time dishes and drinks from 45+ restaurants for this event, and we are so excited to see it back! The event also features a Free Culinary Series hosted by Kroger and special events that pair with it that are bookable.

There’s so much we love about this event and are very ready to eat and shop till we drop when it starts in June.

Next up, two new shows finally opened in Disney World! After years of waiting, Ariel finally returned to Hollywood Studios in The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure on May 27th, 2025.

The show follows Ariel through the story from The Little Mermaid! It has live performers, amazing puppets, and was seeing some pretty impressive wait times on opening day. Down the street, Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After also opened on the same day!

This show follows Captain Hook, Maleficent, and Cruella De Vil as they try to convince the audience that their stories were told unfairly! They were misrepresented! Throughout the show, they each plead their case (along with some other villains who show up), and at the end, you get to decide who was treated the most unfairly.

The audience votes for which villain received a bad edit, meaning that the show comes with three alternative endings! It’s such a fun addition to the park, and we love that both shows have a little something for almost everyone.

Now, we’ve saved the big news for last! We finally know that Disney’s brand-new nighttime parade will debut on July 20th, 2025!

Disney Starlight is the name of the new parade in Magic Kingdom. It will feature so many characters like the princesses, Mirabel, Bruno, Peter Pan, Mickey, Minnie, and more! Disney has slowly shown us concept art of each float, making us so ready for this summer.

The Blue Fairy from Pinocchio will be kicking off the parade as she brings it all to light! We even got to sneak a peek at the newest merchandise coming along with the parade, which you know we will grab as soon as it’s available.

We can’t wait to see this parade light up the night because we adore a nighttime parade! (We miss you, Main Street Electrical Parade.)
