Sure, Disney heroes are kind, noble, and fair. But who seems to have more fun? Listen to this laugh: “MwHAhaHAhaHA.” That’s the laugh of a Disney villain! They may be the societal outcasts, but Disney villains are not afraid to enjoy themselves — dare we say their misdeeds are just their own version of a personal treat?

Speaking of treats, we have some NEW ones to try in Disney World! And, hopefully, you’re seeing the connection here. The new treats are Disney Villain-themed!

We stopped by Hollywood Scoops for a little ice cream treat in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! There are three new treats here, but during our visit, Maleficent was very angry to find that her treat was being sold alongside the likes of Hades and Cruella de Vil, so she pulled her participation (for now). Hopefully, after she cools down, we’ll see that new Maleficent Cone on the menu.

Ice cream time!

Let’s start with a fun one! Behold, the Cruella Ice Cream Sundae. This is an Annual Passholder exclusive, and you must show proof of your membership to purchase the treat. It’s a simple little sundae, but you can’t go wrong with cookies ‘n cream ice cream topped with chocolate syrup, whipped cream, red sprinkles, and mini chocolate chips. It’s served in a house-made chocolate waffle bowl dipped in white chocolate and red sprinkles. Try it for $8.79!

Cruella Ice Cream Sundae

Pretty, right? It is a photogenic snack, before it melts, anyway. It’s a good amount of ice cream — totally shareable. The bowl is fully edible (why can’t all bowls be like that?!), and tastes like chocolate. Plus, the cookies and cream ice cream served here is the good stuff; there are plenty of really big chunks of cookies throughout.

It’s loaded with toppings, too!

This isn’t exactly the most innovative or exciting sundae we’ve ever seen, but it’s a crowd pleaser with all our favorite things. Chocolate? YUM! Cookie pieces? YES! Sprinkles? Of COURSE! If you’re looking for a fun treat to help you cool off in Disney World, give this a try.

It all melts into chocolatey perfection

Up next is a treat ANYONE can purchase — the Hades Ice Cream Float for $8.99. This one is a blue raspberry slush and vanilla ice cream topped with blue curacao syrup, boba pearls, and blue cotton candy. Literally every child under the age of 16 saw this on the menu and begged their parents to purchase the float. We get it — it’s EPIC!

Did we love it? No. But, to be fair, this was probably designed for kids. The float comes with a nice big straw that makes it easy to suck up the boba pearls, but honestly, we recommend grabbing a spoon to eat this. There’s a LOT of ice cream in there, so when it melts, it starts to overflow. As expected, this tasted very sweet, and there wasn’t any super distinct flavor to pick out.

Fun? Yes. Tasty? Eh.

Ultimately, this is a fun, creative treat that is great for kids. As an adult, you might be better off ordering something with less…stuff going on, because the flavor just isn’t anything to write home about. For $8.99, you get a lot of ice cream, and this is shareable, but that’s about all there is to know.
