NEW Details Announced for the Newest Carnival Cruise Ship

Hey, cruisers! Carnival Cruise Line is bringing a new ship to Port Canaveral, and we might have found your next favorite cruise ship.

Get ready for the Carnival Festivale coming in spring 2027!

This new Carnival Festivale ship will sail out of Port Canaveral, Florida, and will be the fourth ship in the Excel Class.

Instead of BOLT: Ultimate Sea Coaster, the roller coaster on other Excel ships, there will be the Carnival Waterworks Ultra water park! There will be six water slides, splash pads, and more. You can find it at Sunsation Point.

Sunsation Point will have special evening events with extended hours for the water parks, a DJ, and other activities. It’s the first time Waterworks will be open at night!

The fun doesn’t stop there! There will also be a “treehouse-inspired elevated adventure trail,” mini-golf, and plenty of arcade games.

There will be 70% more interconnecting cabins than the other Excel Class ships, so more families can have joining rooms, making travelling with your family even easier.

New dining options and fan favorites like Guy’s Burger Joint and Big Chicken will be on board.

This is one of the new ships coming to Carnival, in addition to Carnival Tropicale, another Excel Class ship set for spring 2028, and three more ships with 3,000 staterooms each, starting in 2029.
