Navigating the airport can be a lot…but it doesn’t have to be.
Planning a vacation can be tricky enough without factoring in transportation. Alas, unless you’re a pro traveler, air travel can be overwhelming. Fortunately, we do it all the time, which allows you to bring you some super solid tips. If you’re ever traveling through Orlando International Airport (MCO), be sure to use these three hacks that work every time!
Next time you visit MCO, use these tips to have the smoothest experience possible!
Download the MCO app
Did you know that the Orlando airport has its own app?
The Orlando MCO app is the official app of the airport and it lets you save your flight, track flights, get real-time updates and information, search restaurants and shops before and after security, save parking spots, and navigate the airport easier!
We especially love this app since it lets you track security wait times and discover parking availability — which can be super useful when you’re managing time.

Take advantage of the extended MCO Reserve Booking Window
MCO Reserve is a FREE service that lets you bypass the security line. All you have to do is hop online toMCO Reserve’s website, input your flight information and when you’ll be arriving at security, and then arrive at an MCO Reserve spot within the airport during an allocated time slot.
Available in Terminals A, B, and C, these MCO Reserve lanes have a limited number of slots available each day, but, fortunately, you can book your time slot up to 7 days in advance!
Of note, security screening times are available from 5 AM to 5 PM for flights departing between 6:30 AM and 8:30 PM.

Arrive early
While suggesting to arrive at the airport early isn’t a tip exclusively for MCO, it’s still an important one.
Travel experts recommend arriving at the airport two hours before domestic travel and three hours before international.
With that in mind, thanks to all the touristy options in the area, like Disney World and Universal Orlando, MCO is one of the busiest airports in America. Therefore, it’s never a bad idea to show up even earlier — just to be safe.
