There are so many beautiful lounges aboard Disney Cruise Line‘s newest ship, the Disney Treasure!
This ship is a sister ship to the Disney Wish, and although some of its lounges are different, the ships share a similar layout. One lounge that you can find on both ships is The Rose on Deck 12. This Beauty and the Beast-themed lounge offers breathtaking views of the sea while serving up amazing cocktails and drinks. Almost everything is included aboard Disney Cruise Line, but there are exceptions like alcohol. If you are looking for a way to score discounted alcohol, you are going to want to head to The Rose!
There are no drink packages aboard Disney Cruise Line, except for the wine packages that can be purchased in the dining rooms. The only other discounted alcohol is the Drink of the Day, which rotates throughout your voyage and can be found on the Personal Navigator.
Well, we found another way to score discounted wine on the Treasure as well as on the Disney Wish! You will want to head up to Deck 12 and visit The Rose to take advantage of this deal!
On the menu at The Rose, you will find the “Sommelier Bin.”
You can get a mystery glass of wine for $13! Disney starts to offer a discount on glasses of wine after a bottle has been opened for two days so they can sell it before the quality starts to decline. Typically, the Sommelier’s Bin is not offered until the middle to end of a cruise as bottles are just being opened.
You won’t know what you ordered until your wine is delivered! We will say that we have had the Sommelier Bin offered at The Bayou on the Disney Wish, and our server was kind enough to ask about our wine preferences to help ensure that we would enjoy our mystery glass of wine!
We love this hidden deal and think it is a super fun way to try out something new and be surprised!
Don’t worry if you are not a wine drinker; the Rose also offers cocktails!
We can’t wait to see if the lounges aboard the Disney Destiny also feature the Sommelier Bin on their menus when it sets sail this upcoming November! To stay up to date on all the latest Disney Cruise Line and Disney news, make sure to keep following along with the Disney Food Blog!
