Disney just dropped a ton of announcements about upgrades coming to the hotels of the Disneyland Resort!

Restaurants are being renovated, new themed decor — including Coco and The Incredibles — are coming to guest rooms, and more. Not only that, but two all-new lounges will be opening at the Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian and we’ve got all the details.

This summer, the Disneyland Hotel is unveiling a brand-new concierge lounge called the High Key Club, which will celebrate “the music and sounds of Disneyland park circa 1955.”

Disney promises the new lounge will be “swanky and sophisticated, colorful and fun,” and the lounge will also pay homage to the mid-century modern aesthetic of the era. The High Key Club will nearly double the space of the previous club-level lounge in the Adventure Tower and will be an exclusive place to watch Disneyland fireworks and music!

This new lounge will celebrate “not only music, artists, musicians, and voices, but also unique instruments, bands, foley sounds, and history of audible magic at the park that Walt Disney brought to life…”

The High Key Club will also feature a custom soundtrack that showcases the sounds and songs of the park and will display prominent artifacts.

The Disneyland Hotel

Not only that, but Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will be getting a second club-level lounge, in addition to The Veranda concierge lounge nearby. Disney shared that this “newly designed, two-story space will celebrate classic California Craftsman design and will be a perfect spot for lounging with a good book, relaxing with a glass of wine or admiring the hotel’s Great Hall lobby below.”

Grand Californian Hotel

Inspired by giant sequoias, this new lounge will be located high in the “treetops” of the 5th and 6th floors. In addition, the lounge will be “filled with natural light during the day and a golden glow at sunset from expansive skylights, with a two-story stained-glass door and a curved staircase leading to the mezzanine.” This lounge is slated for completion in 2026.
