A Disney World Hotel Restaurant Just CLOSED for a Multi-Month Long Refurbishment

Disney’s list of hotel pool closures has grown and will continue to grow throughout January.

Stormalong Bay

Currently, pools at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Resort, and the shared pool between Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts are all closed for refurbishment. While Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts is closed, Disney has announced that the pool bar nearby is also closed!

Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar & Grill will be closed during the refurbishment of Stormalong Bay the Yacht Club and Beach Club Resorts near EPCOT. The closure will last from January until at least June 2025.

Typically, you’ll find simple eats like Battered Onion Rings, Chili-Cheese Fries, Hanna’s Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburger, and Beer-battered Fish and Chips along with specialty cocktails and frozen drinks like the popular Piña CoLAVA at Hurricane Hanna’s. However, during the closure you’ll need to make your way over to Beaches & Cream to grab diner style food and drinks, including lots of yummy ice cream treats.

Disney does warn diners at Beaches & Cream that you may hear or see construction work while enjoying your meal or snack here.

While Stormalong Bay is closed, guests at both the Yacht Club and Beach Club can enjoy swimming in one of the three available leisure pools — Tidal (Beach Club), Admiral (Yacht Club), and Dunes Cove (Beach Club) leisure pools.
