Connections Eatery is serving up some special items for this year’s EPCOT Festival of the Arts!
We’re live at the 2025 EPCOT Festival of the Arts, checking out the food studios, artistic performances, merchandise, and more. There’s a LOT going on, but don’t let it overwhelm you. We’re here to tell you everything you need to know before your visit. Let’s go to the Connections Eatery to try some new items for this year’s Festival!
Menu
Over at Connections Eatery, there are two specialty items for this Festival! New for 2025 is Figment’s Liege Waffle with ube filling, and a new drink is also on the menu, Imagination Lemonade: Minute Maid Premium Lemonade, topped with butterfly pea tea and lavender. This drink is non-boozy, but you can kick it up a notch with the addition of vodka!
Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself!
Eats
First up, we grabbed Figment’s Liege Waffle with ube filling for $5.79.
There’s a lot of sugar here, and honestly, the ube was very overshadowed by the rest of the toppings and overall sugary taste. This means that it’s likely a great option for picky eaters. When we did get a taste of the ube, it was slightly sour and had a jelly-like texture to it.
We would have liked a little more of the filling in there and think it would have been better as a mousse texture instead, but overall, nothing to really complain about!
Drinks
The only Festival-specific drink at Connections Eatery this year is the Imagination Lemonade made Minute Maid Premium Lemonade topped with butterfly pea tea and lavender for $5.79. We did choose to get ours without the vodka addition.
This Imagination Lemonade is new for 2025, but we have seen other drinks featuring butterfly pea tea, including at this year’s Painted Panda booth! Was this good? Sure, it was, but it also just tasted to us like a slightly spruced-up lemonade. The only additional flavoring we got here was a faint lavender taste.
If that’s what you’re looking for, then fantastic! This option will likely also be great for picky eaters, but otherwise, we think there are way better drinks at the festivals. However, if you’re a big lemonade fan or you love lemonade and want to add vodka, that would certainly make this drink more intriguing.
OVERALL
Overall, we think this spot will be a real win for the picky eaters and/or kiddos out there, but otherwise, you may feel it falls flat. If you’re on the lookout for simple offerings that are done solidly, this is a great stop to make, but with so many other adventurous options at the festival, those wanting to experience what the more popular festival snacks probably won’t want to take time waiting here.
That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from!
