It’s the most wonderful time of the year! And not just because Disney World is all decked out for the holiday season…
…but because now is the perfect time to spot celebrities in the parks! Stars, they’re just like us — especially during the holidays when they’re taking their families on trips to the Most Magical and Happiest Places on Earth. And, there’s one place where you’re even more likely to see celebrities…during the Candlelight Processional!
A celebrity was just spotted serenading zebras on the Savannah… and, no, we’re not joking. Titus Burgess, best known for his portrayal of Titus Andromedon on Netflix’s The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, was recently featured as one of the celebrity narrators at the EPCOT Candlelight Processional, and he took to Instagram to share how passionately he felt about his love for Disney — and it’s mayonnaise. Also, there is some strong language in the below video as a heads up!
Not only that, but he went on to share a bit about how much it meant to him to be narrating the Candlelight Processional as a Disney fan — and former Disney World Cast Member!
And, in typical fashion, there was also a zebra serenade involved. Burgess was staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge while he was in town for the event, and he decided to try and make friends with some of the locals. Do you think it worked?
The Candlelight Processional is a Disney tradition that tells the nativity story with the help of a celebrity narrator and a live chorus made up of Cast Members and school choirs. Folks tend to line up pretty early to this event — especially for the more popular celebrity narrators — so plan accordingly if you want to check it out on your visit! You can check out the full list of narrators for this year’s event at the link below.
In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for any more celebrity sightings in Disney World. Make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog so you don’t miss any of the latest news!
