REVIEW: Literally the ONLY Thing Wrong With This EPCOT Snack Is the Price!

The 2024 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays is celebrating the holiday season with 18 Holiday Kitchens this year, along with some additional locations serving up some popular Festival eats!

The 2024 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays has officially begun, and there is something for everyone. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, merchandise items to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you. We’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. Let’s take a look at one of the bonus spots and see if you need to stop and check out the eats!

We have the always-popular and sometimes surprising Funnel Cake kiosk! You’ll find this spot in the American Adventure Pavilion.

Menu and Eats

This year, the Funnel Cake booth is serving up a Gingerbread Funnel Cake with vanilla ice cream, gingerbread crumbs, whipped cream, and red and green sprinkles.

This year, the funnel cake is $12, and she’s a festive beaut! But how does it taste? We actually really loved it! The gingerbread spices really come through in the funnel cake itself, and it has a nice crispy sugar coating kind of like a cinnamon sugar pretzel would have.

The block of vanilla ice cream holds together better than a soft serve swirl would, but it still melts fast, so you’ll want to eat this right away! The vanilla adds a lightness to the spice of the gingerbread.

The gingerbread crumbs and sprinkles help vary the texture a bit. The price on this one is still a little steep (like most of the festival funnel cakes), but if you’ve got the room in the budget, this is one of the best exclusive funnel cakes we’ve had at EPCOT!

OVERALL

While it’s true there is NO shortage of great eats at the ‘regular’ booths at this year’s Festival of the Holidays, don’t skip out on these additional locations! Sometimes they have really great treats like this funnel cake. If you’re a gingerbread fan, we highly recommend this offering. However, if you’re on a tight budget, this might end up being something that you skip in favor of some larger or cheaper treats.
