Yesterday, Disney dropped a TON of news about its theme parks and its newest cruise ship, the Disney Adventure. Today, though, it’s Universal Orlando’s turn!

We FINALLY got an official opening date for Epic Universe AND we know when tickets will go on sale. We also learned about ticket prices. So now that we know a little more, you might want to consider becoming a Universal Orlando Annual Passholder. Why? Because Annual Passholders will get a nice PERK when it comes to Epic Universe.

Epic Universe is set to open on May 22nd, 2025, and a variety of multi-day tickets and vacation packages including three, four, or five days of admission to Universal’s theme parks (including one-day admission to Epic Universe) will go on sale on October 22nd. However, if you just want to purchase a one-day ticket, you’ll have to wait a little longer…unless you’re a Universal Orlando Annual Passholder.

Universal Orlando Annual Passholders will have a chance to purchase one-day tickets for Epic Universe beginning on October 24th. This is before one-day tickets will be available for purchase to the general public. Note that Universal has not yet released prices for these tickets or whether Annual Passholders will get a discount.

Epic Universe is Universal Orlando’s fourth park and “its most ambitious theme park yet.” The park will have a total of five lands, including one land, Celestial Park, with an original concept. The other lands are How To Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk, Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, and Dark Universe. The new park will nearly double Universal’s property size.
