CONFIRMED: Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Is Returning to Disney World in 2024

We have fantastic news for all our Christmas fans out there!

Yes, we know it’s only June and that means Christmas is still 6 months away, but that doesn’t mean Disney is going to wait that long to tell us what’s going on in the parks for the holiday season this year! And today the company announced what we’ve all been waiting for — Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is RETURNING to Magic Kingdom once again!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is separately ticketed nighttime Magic Kingdom event that allows guests into the park after closing time to experience special entertainment, holiday cheer, special ride overlays, meet characters, munch on some tasty snacks, and more!

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks

In years past, we’ve seen special shows like Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration!, as well as Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, and the Holiday Fireworks spectacular: Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks! We’ve also seen dance parties like Club Tinsel and Disney Junior Jingle Jam around the parks as well for guests to enjoy.

While not every attraction will be open during this after-hours event, you will be able to experience the infamous Jingle Cruise, as well as the special Space Mountain overlay — Space Mountain — Holiday Run!

While there’s all you can eat free cookies and hot chocolate/apple cider around the park during the event, you can also indulge in some exclusive party eats, which are yet to be announced. We’ll let you know about them as soon as we hear!

Disney also offered a SNEAK PEEK at the new merchandise collection we can expect from this year’s party!

This year’s lineup will offer exclusive apparel, trading pins, and more – perfect for holiday gifting or keepsakes. We’re already chomping at the bit to pick up this party’s exclusive mug and Spirit Jersey!

Alright already, so when will these party nights happen, and HOW SOON can we start purchasing tickets? Great questions! Disney just announced that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will start November 8th, 2024, and will run on select nights through December 20th, 2024. The 5-hour special ticketed event will run from 7PM to 12AM. Here’s when you can expect each party night to be held in November and December!

November 8th, 11th, 12th, 14th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 21st, 22nd, 24th, 26th, 27th, and 29th
December 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 19th, and 20th

As for when you’ll be able to purchase tickets, those will go on sale to guests of select Disney World hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, and Shades of Green starting on July 2nd, 2024. For anyone else looking to purchase tickets, you’ll be able to purchase yours starting on July 10th, 2024.
