There’s still a lot left unknown about Universal Kids Resort in Texas. However, while Universal may be staying silent on further updates for now, we’ve recently seen more evidence suggesting that progress is happening when it comes to the construction of this new theme park!

The next phase of construction is set to be underway soon for Universal Kids Resort! The upcoming park is making its home in Frisco, Texas, and just took another step forward with its construction.

According to the Dallas Morning News, a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that further work on the Universal Kids Resort between Preston Road and U.S. Highway 380 could begin as soon as July.

This filing shares an interesting detail that the completion of the project is currently listed for May 2026. Also, we can see that the construction cost for both the hotel and theme park is listed at more than $152 million and involves a footprint of over 718,000 square feet. Additionally, the architecture firm M. Arthur Gensler Jr. & Associates Inc. is listed as the design firm.
