NEW Disney Restaurants Are Officially OPEN NOW!

When Disney announced that three new restaurants would be coming to the Downtown Disney District, we were thrilled!

We’ve been checking out the concept art and revealed some exciting details about what you can expect here, and we also got a look at the updated spaces in person! But now, it’s official — new Disney restaurants are now open!

Paseo, Centrico, and Tiendita are all right next to each other!

Paseo and Céntrico — brought to you by Mexico’s first Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán — have officially opened at Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District! We’re looking forward to trying all of these new restaurants, but for now, we’re just excited they’ve opened a bit earlier than planned. We stopped by a couple of days ago to check out the progress, but now on the website, some pop-ups say “We’re Now Open!”

Paseo and Centrico

Céntrico is a courtyard bar and restaurant described as an “energetic, central gathering place serving upscale Mexican cuisine and tequila-based cocktails.” The menu will feature items like quesabirrias, chicken enchiladas, tlayuda (which Disney calls an Oaxacan shareable dish reminiscent of pizza), and Caesar salad.

Centrico

At Paseo, which is also open according to the website, Chef Gaytán “pairs his love of Mexico with French culinary style and technique.” We’re looking forward to trying the ceviches, Mama’s cochinita pibil (a roasted marinated pork), lamb barbacoa, and mejillones (a.k.a. mussels). We can’t wait to try them! You can dine at Paseo from 4PM to 10PM nightly.

And, Tiendita, which will be opening soon as well, is essentially a fast-food Mexican restaurant, complete with a self-ordering kiosk and menu options like esquites (roasted corn), fish tacos, ice cream-stuffed chocolate tacos (OOH!), and chorizo breakfast burritos and chilaquiles (marinated tortilla chips with egg).
