We’ve been getting a lot of new information lately about the newest Disney Cruise Line ship, the Disney Treasure! From new shows to a Haunted Mansion-themed lounge, the Disney Treasure is offering plenty of teases that are getting us hyped for its maiden voyage on December 21, 2024. Our hype has only increased with news of yet another ship feature!
1923 is a restaurant that already exists aboard the Disney Wish, a ship that joined the Disney Cruise Line fleet in 2022. As it so happens, the same restaurant is making its way to the Disney Treasure this year, as well!

The restaurant is named in honor of the founding year of Walt Disney Animation Studios and promises to take diners on a journey through animation.

Per Disney, this restaurant combines “classic Hollywood glamour with a dash of Disney whimsy,” and has two dining rooms named after Roy and Walt Disney. The restaurant provides a look inside the evolution of Disney animation over the last century with one thousand drawings, props, and other animation tools.

As for the menu, 1923 specializes in elite California cuisine. “Inspired by the fusion of cultural flavors found throughout the Golden State”, 1923 features a blend of Asian, European, and South American influences. Meals are also paired with a selection of California Wine from the renowned wine country Napa Valley.

Aboard the Disney Wish, 1923 is part of the rotational dining experience that the Disney Cruise Line offers and will likely be the same aboard the Disney Treasure. That means each night of your cruise will take you to one of the three distinctly-themed restaurants on the ship to create a unique dining experience.
