It’s February in Disney World, and that means new snacks are coming at us from all angles!

Disney is celebrating Black History Month with its Celebrate Soulfully event, and the event is bringing all kinds of new treats to the parks! Plus, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! Of course, we’re trying all the latest snacks in Disney World, and we have to admit, we weren’t sure what to expect from this new treat, but it surprised us!

Over at the Contemporary Resort, you can stop by Contempo Café and grab the Sweet Heart Cookie. This is a sugar cookie with heart sprinkles topped with cream cheese buttercream icing, red velvet cake pieces and heart, and a drizzle of dark chocolate for $4.78.

Look how pretty it is! If we’re judging based on looks, this is already off to a good state. In terms of texture, this is a crunchy cookie, so if you’re a fan of softer cookies, it may not be your thing, especially with all those hard sprinkles on top.

However, the middle is quite soft, so this is really the definition of “crunchy on the edges, soft in the middle.” The cookie itself isn’t too sweet, even with all the sprinkles, and the cream cheese frosting is decadent! It reminds us of the classic Betty Crocker frosting you can get at the store, which we love.

The red velvet cake and crumbles are soft and moist, adding a nice element to the cookie overall. We didn’t notice the flavor of the chocolate drizzle at all, but we assume it’s more for aesthetic reasons rather than taste. Overall, this is a fantastic treat that those with a sweet tooth will love.
