Are You Brave Enough To Ride This TERRIFYING New Spokeless (!!) Ferris Wheel?🫣

We won’t lie to you — some Disney rides are kinda scary.

Dinosaur is LOUD and terrifying for those who hate loud noises. The Tower of Terror is the worst possible ride for those who are scared of heights. If you’re prone to motion sickness, don’t even look at Mission: SPACE. Some Disneyland guests say the Pixar Pal-A-Round is the most terrifying Disney ride and easily the scariest Ferris Wheel they’ve ever been on, but we’ve now found something even SCARIER!

Seoul, South Korea announced plans to create a massive new Ferris wheel called the Seoul Twin Eye. It’s being created by UNStudio in collaboration with Arup and local firm Heerim Architecture. So, what’s so special about this ride? Well, it’s set to be the first of its kind — a spokeless Ferris wheel with two intersecting rings.

HUH?! Yep, it’s the new vision proposal for the Peace Park Wheel, which is a project initiated by the Seoul Metropolitan Government for Sangam World Cup Park in Seoul. The structure is set to be 180 meters tall and can accommodate 64 capsules — each with 20-25 people in each one (that’s 1,400 people at a time)! It will be built on a “40-metre-high new cultural complex that is expected to house an exhibition space, a performance hall, retail and food & beverage outlets.”

According to Ben van Berkel, founder and principal architect of UNStudio, “this spokeless design references Korea’s boundless ambition for innovation and spirit of progress, seamlessly blending cutting-edge technology with a timeless appreciation for stability and beauty.” We’ll admit, it looks amazing, but will you catch us on this new ride? Probably not. 🫣 We’ll stick to the Pixar Pal-A-Round for now!
