It’s 2024. The holiday season has come and gone. What do we have to look forward to? The 2024 holiday season, of course!

Disney has us ALREADY thinking about the next holidays and how to celebrate them at Disney World — we’re looking at you Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This got us thinking. When are the tickets for the 2024 Christmas party going to go on sale? Let’s talk about it!

Even though we just finished the 2023 holiday season, you can already feel the excitement building up as we gear up for the most magical time of 2024 with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Now, I know some of you are waiting for those tickets to drop to finalize your plans, so let’s do a bit of holiday sleuthing based on past years.

Let’s start by pulling up the data for the last three years and see if we can spot any trends. Here’s a schedule of when Disney World released the tickets:

• 2021: August 20, 2021
• 2022: June 30 (resort guests) & July 7 (everyone else)
• 2023: June 29 (resort guests) & July 6 (everyone else)

2021 was a bit of an oddball year as they started selling the tickets on August 20th, 2021, not to mention that it was also a different event (Disney Very Merriest After Hours). We were still in the throws of pandemic changes, so, let’s ignore that year.

Now, with 2022 and 2023, there seems to be a pattern that we can discern. It would appear that Disney started selling tickets for the Christmas Party to resort guests in “late June” and to everyone else in “early July.”

We can probably even go one step further and say that it seems like the last Thursday of June and the first Thursday of July could be the trend!

That being said, don’t go marking this date on your calendars just yet as Disney could always switch things up like they did in 2021. So until Disney confirms anything, stay tuned to DFB. We’ll be watching for more updates on all the latest Disney news.
