It’s Christmas week in Disney World, and you know what that means!
It’s about to get busy! Christmas week is one of the most popular weeks to visit Disney World, and we understand why. It’s so festive around the parks during the holidays. Everything is decorated, Christmas music can be heard everywhere, and we can’t forget about the SNOAP. But because of how even MORE magical it is this week, we all want to be there. However, if you don’t already have your park reservations made, you might be out of luck, at least in one park.
We were looking on the Disney website today and noticed that park passes are getting very limited this week. There is a lot of yellow (meaning at least one park is sold out on those days) for ticket holders. Magic Kingdom is sold out on multiple days, and EPCOT is also sold out on the 31st. Disney’s Hollywood Studios park passes are beginning to run out, too.
We are expecting those days to be very busy and won’t be surprised if the price of Genie+ jumps up on those days, too. Currently, Magic Kingdom is sold out on December 24th, 25th, 27th, 30th, and 31st, and EPCOT is sold out on December 31st. Additionally, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is sold out on December 28th and 29th.

This is true for guests staying at Disney World hotels and guests with park tickets.

It’s not uncommon for multiple Disney World parks to fill to capacity on these major holidays. So if you haven’t made park reservations yet, it will be good to be a bit more flexible. Most Annual Passes are now blocked out for the holiday season, with the exception of the Incredi-Pass. For the Incredi-Pass, Magic Kingdom is sold out on December 25th, and EPCOT is sold out on December 31st.

If you haven’t gotten your park passes yet, keep checking for them to be refilled. Disney may add more availability close to the dates!
We’ll be keeping tabs on the crowds and Genie+ this week, so keep checking back for updates. We hope you have a wonderful Christmas and happy holidays!
