The holiday season in Disney World is VERY special, but everyone seems to know that because it’s also one of the busiest times of the year, especially the closer we get to Christmas.
We’ve already seen park passes disappearing for Magic Kingdom on both Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, but we also recently noticed that park passes have disappeared for select Disney World visitors the week before that.
So here’s the deal. When we check park pass availability for the month of December, you’ll still see that most of the next two weeks are still open for visitors with theme park tickets and resort guests, save for the 25th and 31st.
However, when we looked at park pass availability for Annual Passholders, you’ll notice that park pass reservations are completely gone for Magic Kingdom for several days. Five days in a row are completely out of park passes for Magic Kingdom: December 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th. December 25th is also full. That’s a total of six days Annual Passholders can no longer visit Magic Kingdom in December.

If you plan on visiting Magic Kingdom this month, we recommend you make your park pass reservations as soon as possible, as they are going fast, particularly for Annual Passholders. Note that the park pass reservation system will change on January 9th, 2024, although Annual Passholders will still have to make reservations unless visiting a park after 2PM.
We’ll keep an eye on the situation and let you know if it changes, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
