When we hear about a possible new parade at Disney World, we RUN.
Run as fast as we can toward the parade route! We love being able to see our favorite characters in action and showcased in a parade. There is truly nothing better than being able to connect with your favorite characters, even if it is for a brief moment. We recently caught wind of a parade that is coming to a resort, and it is time to share it with y’all!
This parade isn’t your run-of-the-mill 3PM parade at Magic Kingdom. It is a Christmas parade hosted at the Fort Wilderness campground. Not only is it themed for the holiday, but it is full of GOLF CARTS.
Thats right! The golf cart parade is coming back to Walt Disney World. We have seen some people come up with some fun creations in the past, and we can’t wait to see the creativity that is coming to us this year.
Though we don’t have the specific details for this year yet, the Fort Wilderness Golf Cart Parade usually happens at 3;30PM on Christmas Eve, December 24th. As exciting as this parade is, it is also pretty EXCLUSIVE. Only guests staying at Fort Wilderness or guests who have a dining reservation there have been allowed to park at the resort in the past.
We know that’s a bummer– however, people post TONS of photos and videos of this parade online, so it’ll feel like you’re really there!
We caught the Halloween version of this parade, and we weren’t disappointed. We have high hopes for the Christmas parade, and we can’t wait to see it! Disney hasn’t released many details about the 2023 version just yet, but once they do we will update you ASAP, so keep checking in with us at DFB!
