FIRST LOOK at the INCREDIBLE Gingerbread Display at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort

The holidays at Disney World tend to feature some of Disney’s best creations each year.

Each holiday season, Disney World spoils us with fun events, glistening decorations, and tasty treats. With that said, one thing truly stands out when it comes to holiday creativity at Disney World — the gingerbread displays at Disney World’s Deluxe Resorts!

With gingerbread displays returning to Disney World hotels — including a brand new one — we’ve seen some of the best holiday-inspired displays Disney has to offer. One in particular, the gingerbread display at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, is especially exciting!

The display at Jambo House features a truly “wild” display! Here, you’ll find a gingerbread life-size replica of a baby giraffe…

….and a baby zebra!

The “Ginger-affe” made its first appearance at the resort in 2021 and was joined by Debra the Zebra just last year. Made by the pastry team at the resort, this incredible display is made with roughly honey 42 pounds of honey from approximately 32,256 bees.

There they are!

The detailed sculptures even include some hidden gingerbread Mickey heads!

The two gingerbread art pieces will be on display at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge from November 22nd through December 31st.

But that’s not all. The holiday decorations have gone up at Animal Kingdom Lodge, too. That includes a massive, beautiful Christmas tree.
