FIRST LOOK at a NEW Character Coming to Disney's Haunted Mansion Bar

The more we learn about the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the more excited we are to book a cruise on it!

The Disney Treasure will have a Coco dining experience, a Jungle Cruise-themed lounge, a Zootopia-themed sweets shop, and more. But what we’re most stoked about is the first EVER Haunted Mansion bar. We are SO ready to drag our corpses into that bar and revel in all its ghoulish delights. Disney has told us a little bit about the bar, but now, we’ve got a first look at the bar’s NEW character.

So the new bar will focus on the story of “a jovial captain who entered the ghostly realm after a disastrous dinner with his beloved fiancé.”

Now, we might guess that the fiancé could be Constance Hatchaway, but who is this mysterious captain?

There have been several captains mentioned throughout the Haunted Mansion’s mystery, but it seems that THIS captain is a brand new character. Disney recently revealed a portrait of the Captain (who still does not have a name) and referred to him as “one of our newly discovered apparitions found in the recently announced Haunted Mansion Parlor onboard the Disney Treasure.”

The bar should also feature some iconic characters, too, like the infamous Hitchhiking Ghosts, who always try to follow us home (honestly, they’re welcome to come by anytime). We’ll also get to see Madame Leota and hear the Ghost Host.

There will even be some Haunted Mansion-themed drinks to partake in, including the The Ghoulish Delight, Sympathetic Libations, and a Haunted Mansion-themed margarita. We can’t wait to try them out!
