An EXCLUSIVE Event Is Coming to Disney World, But It Costs $2,000 😳

Disney Springs is home to some of the best restaurants in Disney World, a number of them owned by renowned celebrity chefs.

From Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ to the upcoming EET be Maneet Chauhan, you’ll find all kinds of dining experiences to fit your style. Occasionally, you’ll even be able to meet some of these chefs on different occasions throughout the year. We’ve seen Chef Rick Bayless host a special event for a new menu launch at Frontera Cocina, Chef José Andrés hold a presentation during Flavors of Florida, and more. This holiday season, another popular chef is hosting a weekend of fun in his Disney Springs restaurant — Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto.

Morimoto Asia, Chef Morimoto’s first Pan-Asian restaurant, focuses on Chinese, Japanese, and Korean cuisines. This holiday season, you’ll be able to join him for a special event during a weekend of delicious eats and drinks.

Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs

On Friday, December 1st, and Saturday, December 2nd, Morimoto Asia is celebrating 100 years of House of Suntory whisky during the Suntory 100th Anniversary Tasting. From 5-6:30PM each evening, ticketed guests will sample fine whisky and small bites. The event is limited to a small number of guests, so get your tickets soon if you’re interested! The event costs $355 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

Opulence at Morimoto Asia

Additionally, an exclusive “Momokase” will be held later in the evening, beginning at 7PM, on both dates. During this event, 10 guests will enjoy a seven-course meal personally prepared by Chef Morimoto himself, paired with rare bottles from House of Suntory’s signature whisky collection. Ticketed guests will also be able to upgrade to a ¼-ounce pour of Yamazaki 55, from one of only 200 bottles in the world. This event starts at $2,000 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

Inside Morimoto Asia

Lastly, the 12 Beers of Christmas will be held on Sunday, December 3rd, hosted by Chef Morimoto. Ticketed guests will be able to enjoy 12 beers paired with 12 bites to eat. For this event, nonalcoholic options will be available, so this is a family-friendly event. There are two different time slots to choose from, starting at either 11:30AM or 2PM, and you’ll be able to choose general admission or a booth with bottled water and a dedicated server. Tickets start at $95 for adults and $55 for children, plus tax and gratuity.
