ALERT! 🚨 TWO Disney World Parks Will Close EARLY Today

If you’re in Disney World today, there are a couple of updates that you need to know about!

Usually the Disney World theme parks close fairly late in the evening. Recently, Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been closing around 9PM, and Magic Kingdom has been closing around 11PM. However, today both of these theme parks will be closing several hours EARLIER.

Today, October 17th, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is closing at 5PM. Due to the early closure, nighttime events and shows, including Fantasmic! and Wonderful World of Animation, will not take place.

Magic Kingdom is also closing early, at 6PM. This closure is due to a Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party taking place tonight. Magic Kingdom closes at 6PM on every day of the event; here’s a list of the dates for the remaining events of the year:

October 17th
October 19th
October 20th
October 22nd
October 24th
October 26th
October 27th
October 29th
October 31st
November 1st

On each of those dates, Magic Kingdom will close at 6PM and will not have the Happily Ever After fireworks show.

If you’re going to either of these theme parks (and you don’t have a ticket to the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tonight), there’s still plenty to do in Disney World in the evening! If you have a Park Hopper ticket (or an Annual Pass), you can hop over to EPCOT or Disney’s Animal Kingdom. EPCOT is open until 9PM (with a showing of the EPCOT Forever fireworks show), and Animal Kingdom closes at 7PM.

If you don’t have Park Hopper, you could head over to Disney Springs to get some tasty snacks and do some shopping.

You can also explore one of the many hotels on Disney World property. There are lots of lounges and bars at these hotels, not to mention all the fantastic restaurants.
