There are few things that get us as excited as hearing that new menu items are coming to Disney World, but one of those things is hearing that new menu items are coming to our favorite fast food restaurants.
What’s more exciting than new Disney World food?
Of course, we’ll never turn down a trip to the Golden Arches. Yep, McDonald’s has been whipping up all sorts of fun stuff lately, from new Happy Meal toys to meals themed after ones represented in pop culture, like favorite TV shows. Now, though, McDonald’s is rolling out something new for those of us who can’t resist dipping and dunking all of our food.
YUP. Two new sauces are coming to McDonald’s! We first saw a McDonald’s Instagram post that was honestly quite cryptic — in true Mickey D’s fashion. McDonalds said, “if there were new sauces coming 10.9 would u want me to tell u.”

Then, we came across a CNN article that HIGHLIGHTED the two new sauces. Y’all. We’re so excited about these. The sauces are Mambo and Sweet & Spicy Jam.

The Mambo sauce is a tomato-based, sweet, spicy, and vinegary sauce that’s inspired by a sauce that’s apparently very popular in Washington, DC, that’s been “synonymous with black DC food culture” since the 1950s.

The second sauce, Sweet and Spicy Jam, is the first breakfast-inspired sauce to join the lineup and is a “jammy red pepper sauce with a tongue-numbing Szechuan peppercorn kick, and extra heat from the cayenne pepper.“
