Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration has been over since March, but there still are nods to the celebration in the parks.
Cinderella Castle
One of these biggest hints is the golden statues of Disney characters that were incorporated for the anniversary. However, these statues haven’t gone anywhere since the end of the celebration, and Disney recently announced they’d be updating them. Check out how they’ve changed in the parks!
While we were walking around EPCOT, we noticed something different about the 50th Anniversary statues. Can you see what it is?
Olaf statue
Yes, the 50th Anniversary logos are gone! The logos were previously on the base of each statue. Now the golden statues are just situated around the parks representing various Disney characters.
Pua and Heihei
We’re so glad these statues aren’t being taken away and instead are just being incorporated into the parks. Not to mention that if you have a MagicBand+, you can still interact with the statues when you wave at them!
