There’s a reason we always tell you to be prepared for anything on your Disney World trip.

From hurricanes to fire alarms to literal wild bears — you never know what to expect. And folks visiting Magic Kingdom today were in for a rough surprise as one of the most iconic and popular restaurants is unexpectedly closed.
One of our favorite places to grab a quick bite to eat in Magic Kingdom is Casey’s Corner — home to foot long hot dogs, corn dog nuggets, french fries, and our hopes and dreams. So imagine how upset we were to find that Casey’s is unexpectedly closed right now!
Casey’s Corner is currently closed due to “maintenance issues in the kitchen”! They hope to be open again in the next hour and a half, according to cast members.

We saw Cast Members stationed out front, informing people that they’d have to get their lunch elsewhere, so we decided to do a little digging and see what was up. When we asked Cast Members what the problem was, we were told that the kitchen was having “maintenance issues,” but that they hoped to be open shortly.
Maintenance issues.
Maintenance issues could likely be for a whole host of things, but if they’re expecting the delay to only last an hour or so, it’s possible that there’s an easy fix for the problem. We hope so, because we were really craving some of those golden, pillowy, delicious corn dog nuggets we love so much!
