Fall in Disney World

While the Florida weather might not agree, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is underway and there are a lot of treats around Disney World you can get your hands on — and we’ve got one more to review for you!

We were recently strolling through the Germany pavilion over in EPCOT and when we are there, you can find us checking out the bakery case inside of Karamell-Küche. Our fall-loving hearts were happy to see a new dessert in the case — a Pumpkin Spice Butter Bar. Now, the original version of this bar has been a DFB favorite for a long time — a gooey, buttery shortbread cookie with a salty-sweet caramel topping. So we had to grab this to compare it.

A New Pumpkin Spice Butter Bar

The Pumpkin Spice Butter Bar is $4.99 and it’s just as it sounds — a butter bar with pumpkin spice. Just take a look at it — you’d hardly even know it was a different version. But, you can definitely smell the difference as this has notes of fall spice.

We loved everything about this treat — but that doesn’t surprise us. The bar is gooey and delicious, while the pumpkin spice pairs well with the buttery flavor of the traditional bar and is not overpowering in flavor. Our only negative is that the bar melts quickly! While it is fall, the Florida weather has not gotten the memo yet and the bar will melt quickly in the heat, especially with that high butter content. We felt like it melted quicker than the normal butter bars due to the addition of the pumpkin spice. So eat it quickly!

Look at that

This treat is perfect for anyone looking for something sweet — but not too sweet — and is in the mood for fall flavors. We also don’t recommend ordering one of these to go and saving it for later because it will likely melt in your park bag. If you’re a pumpkin spice fan, this is likely a huge upgrade. We’ll definitely be ordering this fall treat again, but our hearts will still forever belong to the OG.
