We recently learned the opening date for Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana!

This past weekend, we got a look at all things Disney and heard A LOT of new Disney updates! We learned about NEW restaurants coming to Disney World, the opening date for Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, and NEW characters we will get to meet. One new character, a young adventurer, is set to find her way to EPCOT, and now we know just where we can find her!
At Destination D23, we learned that Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, a self-guided tour attraction where you can adventure with water, will be opening this October 16th!

We also learned that Moana would be making her way to EPCOT for meet-and-greets inside the new attraction!

On their website, Disney has let us know that when Moana starts her voyages to EPCOT we can meet with her in World Nature near the entrance to Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. So if you’re hoping to meet the princess, make sure you start looking for her as soon as you enter the walk-through attraction.

We’ll be sure to be on the lookout for her arrival in the near future! Until then, as of Sunday, September 10th, you can now meet Figment at the Imagination Pavilion in EPCOT.
