Disney's NEWEST Restaurant Is Officially OPEN!

A NEW Disney restaurant has officially OPENED!

Tiana’s Palace

Tiana’s Palace is a quick service restaurant in New Orleans Square in Disneyland Park. We’ve already visited this spot for a sneak peek inside the restaurant and even a review of all the menu items, but now it’s open to the public, so we’re going to check it out!

FULL REVIEW of NEW Menu Items at Tiana’s Palace Restaurant

Disney updated the French Market Restaurant to become Tiana’s Palace, but some elements of the old spot stuck around. For example, the restaurant is still quick service, it still serves food cafeteria-style, and the Mint Julep Bar is still attached with its delicious Mickey beignets (thank goodness!).

When we arrived at Tiana’s Palace, it was very crowded. Lots of people want to try this new spot!

The green overhanging canopy of French Market Restaurant has been replaced with a yellow and green striped canopy, and the updated version also has string lights.

As part of the update, Disney extended the outdoor patio seating area.

The tables and chairs out here are white, and the chairs have light green cushions.

There are string lights all over the place — this restaurant will be especially pretty at night when it’s all lit up!

Around the corner, you can visit the Mobile Order pick-up window. Use Mobile Order on the Disneyland app to skip the wait!

The interior looks a lot like the old French Market Restaurant, but it’s got a bit more pizazz now.

There’s a beautiful blue decoration on the ceiling that has images of lilies and more lights.

In the center of the room, you can watch chefs filling those lemon icebox pie beignets!

You’ll pick up your food cafeteria-style.

Grab a tray!

Once you have what you want, you can head to the cash registers at the end of the line.

Then, you’ll take your food back outside to the seating area.

There is sometimes live music outside — Cast Members told us that they weren’t sure what the schedule would be, but we’ll be on the lookout for updates.
