If your idea of magic is running through the Disney World Parks at 5AM, then this post is for you.

Princess Half Marathon Weekend (2023)

One of the BEST aspects (and some might argue that this is the only good aspect) of participating in a lengthy runDisney race is the ability to run, walk, or jog through empty Disney Parks and even take secret entrances and exits as you run from one park to another. Except… We might have forgotten another really great perk of these races. That’s right, we forgot to mention the BLING. If you’re running one of the 2024 Disney World Marathon Weekend races for some hardware to add to your collection, then we’ve got some exciting news.

runDisney just revealed the medals that participants will earn upon completing a 2024 Marathon Weekend race. Marathon Weekend at Disney World is the BIGGEST race weekend all year, and the only opportunity for runners to run a full 26.2 miles throughout the Disney World parks. So, it comes as no surprise that these medals really stand out.

Firstly, check out the 5k medal featuring Pluto! We think he looks pretty adorable on this bronze medal.

Next up, we have the 10k medal, which features none other than Chip and Dale! We love that this medal is in the shape of an acorn.

The half marathon medal features Donald and Daisy! These colors? The glitter? The GOLD? This one might be our favorite… 🤫

Well, we might have lied. That one might just tie with the medal you’ll get for running the full marathon, which features Mickey and Minnie! We love the colors of this one as well as their cute little outfits. (Also, this medal looks HUGE! Perfect for a HUGE accomplishment.)

Alright, next up, we have the Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge Medal. Participants who run both the half and full marathon will get to take this bad boy home.

Last but not least, we have the Dopey Challenge medal. This medal is for those who run ALL of the races. Our legs hurt just looking at this one! Dopey looks adorable in his little barrel, though.
