Out of the changes made at Disney World over the past few years, some are more inconvenient than others, according to many park visitors.
One new thing that’s changed the way we all do Disney is the addition of Lightning Lane Multi and Single Passes, the skip-the-line service that have replaced FastPass+. In order to avoid long waits, spending time on your phone while in the parks to book experiences has become a necessity if you are using the Lightning Lane service. Even though you are able to book a few of these in advance, you will need to book more, check your time, etc, in the parks. Not only does this cause added stress for many visitors, it also drains your phone battery.
Yep, constantly needing a charger while at Disney World is probably one of the biggest complaints we hear from many Disney fans. Whether you’re trying to hunt down an outlet to charge your phone or you’re digging a portable charger out of your bag while trying to navigate the crowds, it’s pretty annoying. Unfortunately, we have no solutions if you’re hoping to skip those really long waits. Needing a phone charger while in the parks has just become the norm.
That being said, we do have recommendations for some portable chargers to bring with you to Disney World to make your in-park charging experience more bearable. Without further ado, let’s check out some options.
Grab FuelRod Chargers BEFORE Heading to the Parks
You can exchange FuelRods for a new fully charged charger in the parks and at some airports as well. We recommend buying them before your trip because although you can buy them in the parks, they tend to be cheaper online!
Grab the Multi-Charger for MagicBand+
Not only is it necessary to keep your phone charged, it’s also necessary to keep your MagicBand+ charged. This charger allows you to charge your phone and MagicBands all at once.
There are so many things that need to be charged and this is a great and inexpensive way to make sure everything is charged without worrying if you have enough outlets for all of your devices.
An Apple Charging Station
This one isn’t exactly a portable charger, but it’s a great one for the hotel room or if you’re somewhere in the park with a wall outlet. This charging station will charge your phone, Apple Watch, and AirPods all at once.
While it can be annoying to constantly have to charge your phone, think of all the ways you can benefit from having it with you in the parks. Skipping those long lines, ordering your lunch ahead of time, and even grabbing all the photos and videos your heart desires. Perspective is everything, so grab yourself a good, reliable charger like the ones above and remember that you ARE at the Most Magical Place On Earth — how bad can it really be?
