Could Big Changes Be Coming to This EPCOT Spot?

If you thought there was enough construction already going on in EPCOT, think again! We’ve spotted even MORE work underway.

EPCOT

EPCOT is undergoing a massive transformation that’ll bring a whole bunch of new things to the park, including Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana, CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza, some impressive-looking gardens, and even a special Walt Disney statue. But one quieter corner of the park seems to be getting some work done to it too!

As we were walking around EPCOT, we took a peek near the Imagination pavilion and spotted some construction underway in an area close by.

Woah

For context, the spot we were looking at was to the left of the Imagination pavilion if you’re looking at it from a map — sort of headed toward World Showcase.

In the past, this space has been used for parts of EPCOT Festivals.

Leveled Out

For now, it sits empty.

It seems the entire space has been leveled out (mostly)…

No details about the use of this space have been revealed yet, but we’ll be on the lookout for updates. Elsewhere in EPCOT, you can see construction underway for the CommuniCore area…
