This Is NOT A DRILL. The Grey Stuff Is FINALLY Back in Disney World 😱

Disney World is making some changes, y’all.

Gaston’s Tavern

The 50th anniversary JUST ended, but EVERYTHING seems different now. Park maps have changed, a store got a huge update, and Magician Mickey has made a big comeback. Something else has ALSO made a comeback and we’re checking it out!

For a while, Gaston’s Tavern in Magic Kingdom was host to some fun character-inspired treats for the 50th anniversary. But one older snack was missing from the menu. Well, we’ve got some good news, because that snack, Master’s Cupcake, has returned. The Master’s Cupcake is a Chocolate Cupcake topped with “The Grey Stuff” and crispy Pearls. This is what it used to look like.

Well, the updated version looks different — now it’s got a pretty fondant rose (for Belle!) and golden crispy pearls on it. We haven’t seen this cupcake since before the 50th anniversary began in 2021, so we decided to try it out.

The chocolate cake in the cupcake is very moist. The Grey Stuff is more or less a cookies and cream flavor and really is delicious! We also like the crispiness that the pearls give the overall snack. It also seems like some of them are popping rocks, so that was a nice surprise!

Not only is there TONS of Grey Stuff on top of the cupcake, but it’s INSIDE the cupcake, too, and WE LOVE THAT. More, please! We’re just going to say that this is a solidly good Disney World cupcake — and the Grey Stuff is a CLASSIC.
