See What’s Changed on the NEW PARK MAP for Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Disney World is full of surprises.

Even for people who go to the parks all the time (hi, it’s us, we’re “people!”) no two days are alike. Since we are in Disney World every single day, imagine our surprise when we popped into Animal Kingdom recently and saw that something had changed!

There’s a new park map at Animal Kingdom! We spotted it on our way into the park on a recent visit and noticed quite a few updates and changes. As Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebrations come to a close, chances are we’ll start to see more park maps updated to reflect that. Check out this new look! The gorgeous Tree of Life is prominently displayed on the front of the map.

There’s a new park map!

There aren’t many changes to the map itself, since Animal Kingdom itself hasn’t really changed — but some of the 50th Anniversary offerings will be changing or leaving altogether, so that is reflected in the rest of the map. The 50th logo has disappeared from the compass in the bottom right corner here.

And, you’ll no longer find times listed for the Beacons of Magic show, since that will be ending on March 31st with the rest of Disney’s 50th anniversary.

That’s a lot of info

The top of the map now reads “Alive with Magic,” and is missing the section that used to have information about 50th anniversary offerings like snacks, merchandise, entertainment, and more. You’ll still find plenty of useful information throughout the park map, including showtimes, dining locations, where to find the bathroom, and whatever else you might need to know!
