PHOTOS: Exciting Addition Unveiled at Roundup Rodeo BBQ in Disney World

We’re getting VERY close to the opening of Roundup Rodeo BBQ in Disney World!

This is a new table service restaurant that will open in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It’s set to open on March 23rd, 2023, and we’ve already seen a sneak peek inside the dining room, checked out the FULL menu, seen the prices, and even made our advanced dining reservations (which are open now!). So what’s left? Today, we spotted a pretty big update at the construction site for this restaurant!

When we stopped by the construction site for Roundup Rodeo BBQ earlier this week, we spotted some BIG new additions on top of the restaurant.

Something new!

There are large boards with drawings of Buttercup the unicorn and Stinky Pete, who appears to be ringing the dinner bell. This fits the theme of the restaurant, which is meant to be a rodeo that Andy created for his toys to play in (hence the childlike drawings). Guests are the honorary toys that get to visit and try out the tasty grub!

We visited the restaurant’s site again today and found even MORE updates! Now, the entrance sign has been unveiled and you can see the restaurant’s name.

What’s that?

The sign is posted over an archway that will likely be how guests enter the restaurant. It says “Roundup Rodeo BBQ” in bright primary colors against a wood background, with two lanterns posted over the name.

There are still hedges covering the entrance for now, but we can’t wait to try out the new restaurant when it opens on March 23rd. The food is served family-style, and it includes various barbecue dishes, lots of sides, and even a few desserts.
