But, those delicious eats and drinks are not the only reasons you should visit the Flower & Garden Festival. There are gorgeous topiaries, a ton of unique souvenirs, and some stellar entertainment! One of our favorite parts of the festival is the Beacons of Magic show that’s brilliantly displayed on Spaceship Earth — come check it out with us!
Disney debuted the Beacons of Magic shows for the 50th Anniversary celebrations, and each time a new festival rolls around, the Spaceship Earth show gets a bit of a makeover. We’ve seen Muppet-themed shows and more — and for the 2023 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival, there’s a Encanto-themed show!

We caught the show on the festival’s first night, and are still amazed by these glowing lights every time we see them!
Beacons of Magic
Make sure you add the Beacons of Magic show to your festival to-do list if you want to catch this incredible display of music and lights. The show happens nightly once it gets dark and generally runs continuously throughout the evening.

The ball as we call it was so iconic, so majestic, so inspiring… now it is nothing but a circus act. Too bad. The original set up of the ball followed by the East and west Communicore was an architectural masterpiece of symmetry in motion when fountains were opened. Now destine to be a walk thru obstacle on your way to World Showcase. Where are the imagineers when we need them…
First trip to Beach Club Villas, I just about lost it because we could SEE Spaceship Earth from our room!!
Now guests are so jaded, it has to do tricks to get any attention…. sad….
