Something NEW Is Coming Near TRON Lightcycle / Run in Magic Kingdom

Okay, so you know us — we get excited about food!

That’s why we are keeping an eye on the construction of some new restaurants in Disney World, why we scouted out ALL the Valentine’s Day snacks, and we keep checking on menu updates at restaurants throughout the Disney parks and hotels. Well, now, we just noticed a NEW snack stand being set up in Magic Kingdom — over by TRON Lightcycle / Run.

We were riding the PeopleMover today and checking out everything going on over at TRON Lightcycle / Run, which is in the middle of Cast Member Previews. So needless to say, there’s a lot of activity going on over there. However, we noticed something had popped up — seemingly overnight.

What’s this?

That’s a snack stand!!! Now we’re not sure what KIND of snack stand this in, but dare we dream we’ll be getting some fun TRON-themed treats?

When we visited TRON to check out the ride, we spotted a smaller snack stand (just selling ice cream treats), but this one looks to be much more permanent. It will be interesting to see what kind of snacks we’ll be able to get here — Cool Ship is already right around the corner in Tomorrowland. We’ll definitely keep an eye on it and let you know when we have more details.
