Many people dream of having a Disney wedding in front of the castle with a magical carriage ride off into the sunset.
The reality is that’s probably out of most of our budgets. However, there are plenty of other ways to add a little bit of Disney to your wedding, like with parks-inspired recipes at the reception, hidden Mickeys in the decorations, and even with a wedding dress inspired by a princess!
Disney Fairy Tale Weddings just revealed their 2023 collection, which includes gowns inspired by 9 different Disney princesses. The models performed on one of the most iconic runways of all time — the walkway leading up to Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland! Several content creators known for their Disney fashion prowess were featured as well.
The collection took inspiration from Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Rapunzel, Snow White, and Tiana. It includes 21 dresses total in a variety of designs, so chances are you’ll probably find something to suit your tastes! We also were able to catch a sneak peek at the all-new Disney Princess-inspired bridesmaid collection.
These are based on Aurora’s “make it pink, make it blue” moment, and in autumn we’ll get to see the rest of the gowns in the line.
That’s not all — beginning Fall 2023, Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings will premiere a new horse-drawn carriage at Disneyland. This carriage takes its cues from Cinderella and will feature handcrafted platinum and gold details on a pumpkin canopy. The interior will also be covered with detailed vines to continue the pumpkin theme. This carriage will bring Disney’s total count to 3, including the Cinderella Coach at Disney World and the Disney Fairy Tale Carriage at Disneyland Paris.
Okay, okay, on to the wedding dresses! First up, we had to start with the one that started it all: Snow White! This sparkly dress has fluffy tulle at the bottom too.
Another Snow White-inspired style features delicate cap sleeves …
… while this one has longer sleeves.
Check out the train!
Many of these dresses had dramatic trains! This is one of the Cinderella dresses.
This dress actually has a slender silhouette in the front, with the train adding drama in the back.
For a more simplistic Cinderella look, you can go with this gown.
Or this one for more glitter!
This gown with the sweetheart neckline is inspired by Aurora.
Another Aurora gown, this time with off-the-shoulder sleeves.
And how gorgeous is the back?
This Sleeping Beauty dress has a satin finish and structured bodice.
Ready for Tiana? This gown has a fun and flowy sleeve design.
It looks like the beading is done in vine shapes, reminding us of her ballgown.
Speaking of ballgowns, this Tiana-inspired one is full of volume!
For those who’d rather stick to a column-style, this Tiana dress looks just like something she’d wear in the 1920s.
This sweet dress couldn’t be inspired by anyone else besides Rapunzel!
The front is fairly covered, so there’s a fun cutout on the back.
Another Rapunzel gown was this beautiful one with a massive train.
We love the sleeve details too!
This gown took its design inspo from Pocahontas.
The other Pocahontas gown had a pretty unique feature.
Check out the flowing fabric on the right shoulder!
Next, we have a few designs inspired by Jasmine.
These voluminous sleeves remind us of Jasmine’s pants, but they work so well on the gown.
Another Jasmine design is this halter neck formfitting gown.
Of course, Ariel had to have a mermaid-style gown, but Disney really went the extra mile with the details, like these beautiful pearls.
The other Ariel design reminds us of the dress she wore when she came out of the water to save Eric at the end of the movie!
Last but most certainly not least, we have this satin gown inspired by Belle.
The off the shoulder straps are reminiscent of her yellow gown, but what we love most about this dress is the back!
Disney really outdid themselves with this collection!
