FIRST LOOK at a Brand New Disney Board Game!

Disney board games can be great gifts for friends or family, and playing them can be a great way of reminding you of Disney magic when you’re away from the parks. Disney just announced that a new board game will be on the market starting in the fall of this year!

On February 1st, innovative board game publisher Libellud announced their first collaboration with Disney on a game called Dixit Disney. This new standalone game in the Dixit universe is based on the beloved characters from Disney and Pixar films.

This is a “simple and lighthearted game of storytelling, interpretation, and guesswork.” A series of cards featuring Disney-themed photos will be revealed to the player, who must use the “enigmatic statement centered on one of the revealed cards” to find the correct image and earn points.

Board Games Galore!

There are 84 cards in the game, which took 2 years to complete. In addition to the cards, the game also includes:

6 Wooden, Disney-shaped meeples
6 Voting dials
Game board
Plastic tray
Rulebook

The game is meant for 3-6 players who are 8 and up. Each game should last around 30 minutes. We don’t have an official release date for this game yet, but be sure to stay tuned to DFB and we’ll keep you updated!
