Today has been a news-filled day for TRON Lightcycle / Run.
We learned that the ride will be utilizing a Virtual Queue, guests can also purchase individual Lightning Lanes, and the attraction will require riders to lock up loose belongings in lockers. Now, we have ANOTHER update for you!
While we were in Magic Kingdom today, we checked out the progress on this ride, and we saw the vehicles being tested with passengers on board! There’s been plenty of track tests with just the cars and even with weighted mannequins on board, but it’s rare to see actual passengers riding.

Disney is holding previews for Passholders, Cast Members, and Disney Vacation Club members, but so far Disney has only announced preview dates in February. The passengers we saw were likely part of the ride’s testing group before it officially opens up for other guests.
