MAJOR Update on the New DVC Villas at the Disneyland Hotel

From coast to coast, Disney parks are undergoing some major transformations.

Over in Disneyland, we’ve been keeping up with the ToonTown makeover and all the changes coming to Tarzan’s Treehouse. Not only that, but one Disneyland Hotel is getting a brand new Disney Vacation Club tower — and we’ve got an update on that construction!

A new DVC tower is coming to the Disneyland Hotel — called The Villas at Disneyland Hotel — and this week, “another big construction milestone” was reached according to Ken Potrock, President of Disneyland Resort.

The executive shared on Instagram that Walt Disney Imagineers recently celebrated raising the last of the highest steel beams of the structure.

Cast Members were treated to a watch party at the pool, where they were able to watch the beams take their final positions — but not before several Cast Members got to sign their names on the beams.

The new tower!

The new L-shaped tower will feature 12 stories and 350 DVC villas, plus a new pool, outdoor bar, interactive play area, community hall, and fitness center. You can see that last beam being raised in the photo below!

What kind of theming can you expect from this new building? Well, the rooms will be inspired by Sleeping Beauty and colors from the movie will be used to create a subtle theme. You can expect The Villas at Disneyland Hotel to open sometime in 2023.
