NEW Treats Are Coming to Gideon's Bakehouse in Disney World

With so many places to find delicious treats in Disney World, it’s hard to say that there’s a single best place to get dessert. But if you really twist our arm and beg for just one spot that you absolutely MUST visit on your next trip…let’s just say that Gideon’s Bakehouse (at Disney Springs) would certainly make the shortlist for the top dessert spot.

With half-pound cookies and GIANT slices of cake, how could this bakery NOT be one of our favorites? It has classic flavors that are on the menu all year long, but you’ll also find limited-time specialty flavors that change every month. Now that we’re in a new month, that means new flavors at Gideon’s! Let’s check them out.

Gideon’s took to Instagram to announce a NEW cookie this month. Apparently, visitors have been begging for a pumpkin cookie, and now the bakery has finally complied! The Pumpkin Bread Chocolate Crumb Cookie is “filled with real Pumpkin, our House Pumpkin Spice Blend, a little bit of Chocolate on the inside, and a generous topping of Pumpkin Butter Crumbs.”

Gideon’s Bakehouse recommends pairing it with the Nitro Cold Brew or the French Toast Cold Brew (which is a limited-time flavor that will be sticking around through Thanksgiving!).

There will also be some new cake flavors for this month, and we’ve got the full schedule here. There’s a different combination of flavors for every day of the week this month!

Sunday will have Cinnamon Roll, Red Velvet, and Chocolate Everything cakes; Monday features Pumpkin Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Churro, and PB&J flavors; Tuesday is Andes Mint, Valentina, and Peanut Butter Cup; Wednesday will have Chocolate Chip Marshmallow, Golden Oreo, and PB Espresso cakes; Thursday has Pumpkin Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter Cup, and Key Lime Pie Cake; Friday is all about Cookies & Cream, Rainbow Crunch, and Salted Caramel; and Saturday will have Cinnamon Roll, Valentina, and PB Banana Double Frosted cakes.

Another treat you can find at Gideon’s is the bite bags, which are filled with quartered cookies that have been dipped in chocolate and topped with various toppings to match the cookie flavors. Daily bite bags won’t be available this month, but there will be “special bite releases every weekend of November,” so we’ll be watching for those!

Cookies and cake aren’t the only things Gideon’s Bakehouse is famous for. This bakery has a unique theme, with a dark interior, dusty bookshelves, and slightly macabre decorations. One wall is covered in sketches of various characters, who are like mascots for the different treats. The character for this month’s treats is Pumpkinfists, who will be featured on the menus handed out at the Disney Springs location from now through Thanksgiving.
